Wedding Hot Spot – Wrigley Mansion in March

I adore the Wrigley Mansion. Here in Arizona, we don’t have as many ‘old’ or vintage buildings as you might find back east, so when I get to visit a historic site I always swoon. Built in the 1930’s by the Chicago Cubs Wrigley Family, the mansion is chalk full of history.

So take a minute and check out today’s Hot Spot film of The Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix to see if it might be the perfect place for your wedding! This one’s a few short clips from a full wedding at The Wrigley Mansion in the month of March.

Keep an eye out for:
•The view! The house was built on a 100 foot knoll overlooking the valley and the Arizona Biltmore Resort.
•The wonderful greenery and flowers.
•The fun and unique ceremony location and set up.

Wedding Hot Spot – Sanctuary on Camelback

This Week’s Wedding Venue Hot Spot Is Sanctuary on Camelback – In Paradise Valley.

Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain
is, in one word, breathtaking. The views of the mountain are extraordinary, as are the views from it. It’s a modern styled resort and spa with plenty of hidden nooks and crannies to satisfy any photo op!

Sanctuary on Camelback

A few of my favorite features are:

* The ultra modern design of the entire resort.
* The view of the mountain, it really doesn’t get better than that.
* The two different ceremony locations. One is a lush green lawn and the other a beautiful stone patio overlooking the lawn.

This Hot Spot film is about a minute and a half long and will show you how a Patio wedding looks at the Sanctuary Resort.

P.S. You may catch a glimpse of David DeDios, the photographer at the wedding, and Aleasha Shelton, the planner who made it all happen!

Wedding Hot Spot – Villa Siena

Today’s Hot Spot Is Villa Siena – In The East Valley.

I’ve always loved Villa Siena. It’s a cool wedding site for a few reasons:

First, the Tuscany theme is immaculate, even down to the pavers in the hallways.

Second, it’s a very private site, so you won’t see many people other than your guests on the wedding day, which is a definite plus.

Third, it’s just freaking gorgeous.

This Hot Spot film is about a minute long and will show you how a Villa Siena wedding can look all set up in the courtyard.

Keep an eye out for:

•The fountains. I love the one in the courtyard.
•The HUGE front doors – they are perfect for dramatic pictures.
•The beautiful ballroom with wood paneled walls.

When you’re engaged you probably don’t have time to visit every venue you might be thinking of, and pictures can’t always tell the full story. So to help you out, we’re going to give you the next best thing in venue selection – film, of course!

If The DC Ranch Clubhouse is on your list, you’re in luck because we’ve put together some shots from a real wedding for you.

Keep an eye out for:

•The incredible courtyard where they hold the receptions.
•The balcony shot during the ceremony.
•The intricate stone and wood work in the courtyard.
•The spectacular view.

This is an ideal location for both those looking to host their entire wedding in one place, as the area is very private and intimate.

Wedding Venue – Royal Palms

You probably don’t have time to visit every venue you might be thinking of, and pictures can’t always tell the full story. So to help you out, we’re going to try to give you the next best thing in venue selection – video, of course!

If The Royal Palms is on your list, you’re in luck today because we’ve put together some shots from different weddings there for you.

Keep an eye out for:
•The beautiful foliage that is such a part of the Royal Palms design.
•The fountains that dot the property.
•The two very unique and intimate ceremony sites.
•The area the cocktail hour is hosted on. I’m a huge fan of this because of the large water feature that runs through the middle and creates such a peaceful atmosphere.
•Beautiful photo (and film) opportunities. Based off of an Italian Villa, there are nooks and crannies all over the place.

This is an ideal location for both those looking to host their entire wedding in one place (both ceremony and reception) and for those wanting only a reception site.

Tell us in the comments where you’re thinking of having your wedding – we’ve probably shot there before and might add it to this series. And if you have questions about how to maximize your venue for a wedding film, you can always shoot us a question. (We’re not kidding when we say Mary is a go-to-gal!)
