I love how much our client trust us. We got a call this morning for a last minute wedding and I couldn’t be more thrilled!

I’m so glad we could accommodate this bride as well, which is one of the perks of how rigorously and intensely we train our team. We have several teams of myweddingfilm exclusive shooters so we can cover more than one wedding on a single day.

I’ve always wanted myweddingfilm’s product to stand out and part of that is how we train and retain our shooting staff. Our teams only shoot weddings so they always have their head in the wedding game and I just wanted to give them a shout out as they head to this last minute wedding!

If you remember a while back I featured James and Lisa’s wedding trailer on the blog. Well the wedding was simply amazing and the photographer, Hollye Schumacher, had it published in Arizona Society Magazine! We were so honored to work with Lisa, James, Hollye, Teonna and Deanna at this wedding.

I snapped this great shot of Mindi at our joint Darby Elizabeth/MyWeddingFilm wedding on Saturday!

Mindi is one of our fun and amazing cinematographers!

A little bit about Mindi.

She got married this year to her sweetie, Preston and is expecting her first baby next year!

Mindi has three sisters and they all look exactly alike, at least I think so.

They are planning on naming the baby Jude, which I LOVE.

Mindi has been shooting with the myweddingfilm team for just under four years.

She love the “Office” and is always game to re-watch an episode with me.

She’s fantastically fun, easy to get along with and just an overall great member of the myweddingfilm team!

Pardon the dust today! We are doing a little make-over on the site! It should all be cleaned up in a day or so!

Busy is an understatement.

We’re off to shoot a big Phoenix Bride and Groom Magazine event today (being designed by Victoria Canada) – I’ll be creating some classic mini-commercials for them. It’s bound to be uber fun, but it means no new venue hot spot today.

Meet Jonas

Today I thought I’d share a little slice of my life with you.

Four weeks ago my husband and I welcomed our first baby into our family. Jonas was born with dark hair and almond shaped eyes at a whopping 8lbs 6oz. He’s been wonderful to have around – and he’s been keeping me really busy!

Well, last week Keith Pitts, a fantastic Scottsdale photographer, generously offered to come shoot some photos of our little guy. Here are three shots Keith sent over last week after the shoot and I’ve been anxious to show off his great work!

Stephanie and Graham’s wedding was picked as one of Arizona’s Most Beautiful Weddings in 2008, and with good cause. They are a beautiful couple, both inside and out, AND it shows in their wedding film and photos!

A Short and Sweet Shot

I asked the My Wedding Film team recently if they’d share a simple but beautiful shot from their current film. Laura, one of our creative film editors, sent me this cute shot and I loved it!

Here’s why:

1. It’s from the first dance, which is one of my favorite moments of the wedding day.
2. The camera is moving, which adds to that Hollywood feel.
3. It’s from a DC Ranch wedding, and I love the reception courtyard there.

Recently The Wedding Chronicle issued its list of “The Most Beautiful Weddings of 2008,” and it’s always fun to see the name My Wedding Film come up a few times!

The wedding I want to show off today is one of our all time favorites. You’ve probably already seen their film when it aired on our site a while back. We can’t say enough how fun it was to work with Summer & Matt!

Their wedding was also featured on an episode of Platinum Weddings. If you happen to see it, you might catch some of our footage as well!
